2、 Freight sea transportation process (booking, towing, container loading, fumigation, customs declaration, sea freight, customs clearance, tax payment, customs inspection, delivery, furniture loading and unloading)

Confirm the specific time for sea freight (specific to the month and date) and choose a shipping company to book the shipment (the departure time varies among different shipping companies, with each shipping company shipping once a week).

Confirm the pick-up address, confirm the container loading time (specific date and time of the month), arrange for the trailer driver to go to the dock in advance to pick up the container, and arrive at the designated location on time to wait for container loading.

On the day of container loading, our company will contact the staff of the Inspection and Quarantine Bureau to come to the door and stamp the raw wood materials with wooden frames/pallets/boxes for packaging. After sealing, we will wait for container loading. After loading the cabinet, the staff will fumigate it with medicine and close the cabinet door before dragging it to the dock.

Customs declaration: To export customs in Guangzhou or Shenzhen, simply provide a list of goods. Factories outside Guangdong Province can transport the goods to Guangzhou or Shenzhen ports for customs clearance.

After customs clearance, it can be arranged to board the ship. Generally, after boarding in Guangzhou, it needs to transit to Shenzhen or Hong Kong, and then depart for transportation to the destination after boarding the large ship. After a period of navigation (usually around 13-20 days), the ship will arrive at the destination port and our personnel will arrange customs clearance.

After customs clearance, the goods will be delivered to the doorstep.

The price for the first cubic meter of Edmonton is 3200RMB, with an additional 1600RMB

Note: If there is original packaging or solid wood furniture, an additional fumigation and insect repellent fee of 700RMB per shipment is required before it can be imported into Canada. If the outer packaging does not have solid wood and does not require fumigation, there is no need for fumigation fees.
